Patoro Gran Añejo Reserva

The launch of the Dominican cigars Patoro Gran Añejo Reserva series in 2001 marks the beginning of the success story of the Patoro brand. Patoro VINTAGE

Patoro VINTAGE

The expression “Vintage” corresponds in the world of cigar to a storage of cigars for several years. In the case of the Patoro Vintage series, this word marks the particularly long aging of the wrapper leaves. 10 years during which this tobacco refines its aroma and taste to offer a unique tasting experience. No concession is tolerated to offer the best cigars; particularly well balanced Puros Dominicano.

The ten-year-old rare wrappers on these cigars grab your attention due to their beautiful and oily sheen. They have the same wonderful filler as the mild cigars from the Gran Añejo Reserva series. This line has a distinctive, round and fine spicy aroma thanks to its exceptional wrapper. Rich in earthy and aged woody notes, accompanied by subtle but sophisticated hints of coffee and roasted nuts. Medium strong, exquisite, smooth and full flavored smoke!

Patoro Serie p

Patoro Serie p

The Patoro Serie P is a young and dynamic line that seduces many Cuban cigar lovers with its blend of Piloto cubano, Corojo and a pinch of San Vicente tobacco.

With the exception of the magnum and all the lower capacities, most bottles of wine are called after biblical characters and kings. Some claim that their names were originally supposed to suggest that, like the people who carry their name, the wines have great value. Although not all rich, they all have interesting stories. We were inspired by the world of wine and gave these names to the cigars of this series as cigars also have great value.

Its spicy and herbal notes, accompanied with sophisticated honey and earth accents, characterize this Serie P line of Patoro. These cigars offer a rich, varied and refined smoke, thanks to the three to four year aged tobacco fillers. Woody-earthy beginning, followed by delicate sweet-bitter notes and spicy undertones, the smoke gets increasingly complex, medium strong and rich in flavor with a slight frivolous character.

Patoro BRASIL

Patoro BRASIL

The apprentices of certain corporations complete their apprenticeship with a masterpiece. It was, in a way, the case of Dr. Pablo Richard, co-owner of the Patoro brand, after a one-year stay in the Dominican Republic to reinforce his already excellent knowledge, from the tobacco seed to the enjoyment of the cigar. The Patoro Brazil series is his masterpiece: he has successfully created, in collaboration with our master blenders, this blend that has become one of the most popular series and even, for some aficionados, “the best blend of which they had the chance to enjoy!”, in other words; the best cigars they have ever tasted.

The green used for the cigar band of this line is the one of the national color used by often successful British racing cars in international competition until the late 1960s, when the distinction of color by nationality was abandoned. This green is commonly known as British Racing Green (BRG) and symbolizes power, willpower, efficiency and victory.

This outstanding Patoro creation got his name by the wrapper Cubra. Cubra tobacco is a hybrid of Cuban and Brazilian tobacco seeds, which is cultivated in passionate devotion and with the utmost care by experienced Tabaqueros. Elegant and exotic, this cigar will give any aficionado a unique smoking pleasure!

The classic cigar formats of the medium strong to strong cigars of the Brasil series allow the aromas to develop to perfection while not being dominated by the strength of the blends.

Patoro VA

Patoro VA

The VA (Very Aged) Series is the most exclusive line and is logically composed of the most expensive cigars of the Patoro brand. Exclusive because of the type of tobacco seeds that Leo Reyes’ father brought from Cuba when he left the island. It took us many years of development to come up with an excellent result worthy of becoming the wrapper of our Patoro VA cigars. Exclusive also because of the exceptional long aging of these leaves (9 to 12 years) which gives them this incomparable generosity and a creamy and velvety character. This particular series also differs from the other Patoro series by a cigar band just as special on which appears among others the coat of arms of the Patoro brand. An exceptional cigar band for a non less exceptional cigar!

This outstanding creation of Patoro offers plenty of visual appeal with their stunning dark, oily and rare wrappers. In all its grand splendor this noble cigar never ceases to adorn the palate with exacting aromas of toasty coffee, dark creamy chocolate and subtle sweet-spicy honey flavors.

It’s hard to define which is the best cigar for everyone because it’s a matter of personal taste. But, with rich earthy and woody notes, these medium strong cigars are a must for any Aficionado; cigars for beginners in search of the best cigars but also for confirmed aficionados who will recognize the importance of the exceptional maturation of the rare tobaccos that go into the blend of this series.
